HD, SD and very long videos
Most Facebook videos come in two sizes. HD looks better; SD is a fraction of the size and is the practical choice on mobile data. Videos over about 400 MB open straight from Facebook in a new tab, where your browser's own Download option saves them.

Watch pages, Reels, videos on a Page, share links and short fb.watch links all work. On a computer, click the video so it opens on its own and copy the address from the address bar.
Public videos only, and no photos
Friends-only posts, private groups and private profiles can't be reached by any website. Facebook photos can't be downloaded either, because Facebook doesn't show photo pages to visitors who aren't logged in.

What's the difference between HD and SD?+
HD is the higher resolution version (usually 720p or more) and a bigger file. SD is smaller and downloads faster — handy on mobile data.
Can I download Facebook photos?+
No. Facebook only shows photos to logged-in users, and Yocker never asks for a login. Public Facebook videos and Reels work.
Which Facebook links work?+
Links to public videos, Reels, Watch pages, share links and short fb.watch links. Videos from private profiles or closed groups can't be downloaded.

Where is the file saved?+
In your browser's default download location — usually the Downloads folder. On iPhone, open the Files app and look in Downloads, then save it to Photos if you like.
Why did a video open in a new page instead of downloading?+
Very large files (over about 400 MB) aren't passed through our server; they open straight from the platform instead. Use your browser's menu (⋮ or long-press the video) and choose Download or Save video.
Is it legal to download videos and photos?+
Only download content that you own, or that you have the creator's permission to save. Respect copyright and each platform's terms. Yocker is meant for personal, lawful use — for example backing up your own content.
