Getting the best result from the Reel downloader
Sound and quality
A Reel is saved as the same MP4 that Instagram plays, in its original resolution and with its original audio. If Instagram has muted the track, or the Reel never had sound, the result card says so, which saves you wondering whether the download failed. Where Instagram provides the music as a separate stream, you can save the audio on its own.
Links that work
Use the link from Share, then Copy link. Links containing /reel/, /reels/, /p/ or /tv/ all work, and tracking text after the question mark is ignored. If your link contains /share/, open it in your browser first and copy the address it turns into.
Carousels and mixed posts
Posts with several items are listed in order, each with its own button. Videos are saved as MP4 and photos at their original size, so one paste covers the whole post.

Can I download Instagram Reels with audio?+
Yes. Reels are saved as a normal MP4 with their original sound. If the creator's audio was removed by Instagram, the video will be silent there too. You can also grab just the audio track.
Does it work with carousel posts?+
Yes. If a post has several videos or photos, Yocker lists each one with its own download button.
Can I download Instagram photos?+

No. The file is streamed from the platform's servers straight to your device. We don't keep copies of anything or a history of what you download.
Where is the file saved?+
In your browser's default download location — usually the Downloads folder. On iPhone, open the Files app and look in Downloads, then save it to Photos if you like.
Why did a video open in a new page instead of downloading?+
Very large files (over about 400 MB) aren't passed through our server; they open straight from the platform instead. Use your browser's menu (⋮ or long-press the video) and choose Download or Save video.
Is it legal to download videos and photos?+
Only download content that you own, or that you have the creator's permission to save. Respect copyright and each platform's terms. Yocker is meant for personal, lawful use — for example backing up your own content.
