From a t.me link to a file
Public channels only
A public channel has a name, and its posts open as web pages at t.me/name/123. Those can be downloaded. Private channels, groups and chats use links with /c/ or a plus sign, and only their members can see them.
No bot, no account
You don't need Telegram installed, a phone number or a download bot. That makes this handy on a work computer, or when someone sends you a link to a channel you don't want to join.
Big files
Telegram allows very large uploads. Anything over about 400 MB opens directly from Telegram's servers in a new tab, where your browser's Download or Save option stores it.

In your browser's default download location — usually the Downloads folder. On iPhone, open the Files app and look in Downloads, then save it to Photos if you like.
Why did a video open in a new page instead of downloading?+
Very large files (over about 400 MB) aren't passed through our server; they open straight from the platform instead. Use your browser's menu (⋮ or long-press the video) and choose Download or Save video.
Is it legal to download videos and photos?+
Only download content that you own, or that you have the creator's permission to save. Respect copyright and each platform's terms. Yocker is meant for personal, lawful use — for example backing up your own content.
